Based in Boise - a foodie at heart. Not classically trained in the culinary arts... but embracing a diversity of deliciousness. Experimenting, sampling, devouring and sharing. Slightly biased towards local producers, pasta, cheese, bacon, wine - you know, the good stuff!
I love to eat - so therefore, I enjoy cooking.
I'm Irish/Italian (drink like the Irish, eat/cook like the Italians) so I sometimes have trouble following recipes or measurements.
My foodie goals in life?
- To become an intuitive chef
- To make many foodie pilgrimmages (a Thomas Keller experience? check!)
- To constantly discover the nom-worthy offerings of my home state
- To master a culinary artisan art or two (cheese monger & charcuterist on the list)
- To share, connect, learn, grow and mangia - a lot
